How do I prepare for your visit?

No preparation is necessary except that we'll need pets put in a safe area away from the areas where we're cleaning, and the removing of any clutter that might impede our ability to do a thorough cleaning. Please put out clean linens if we are to change the sheets.

What kind of cleaning products do you use?

We primarily use environmentally-friendly, disinfectants that are non-toxic and registered with the EPA for safety and efficacy, hydrogen peroxide of varying strengths, glass and free and clean dish soap.

What microfiber products do you use?

We use disposable and pro antimicrobial microfiber cleaning cloths and mops. Below is information* on our pro antimicrobial microfiber cloths:

Coconut Oil Based, Non-Toxic - The Fresche®-Tex active is derived from real and natural coconut oil. Applied to our microfiber towels, it is safe for people, pets, plants and the planet. Unlike other antimicrobial treatments, it contains no heavy metals, poison, toxic chemicals, carcinogens or endocrine disruptive compounds.
Lock & Bond Microbial Protection – Tested to be effective at over 100 launderings, Fresche®-Tex locks and bonds to our microfiber cleaning cloths where it delivers continuous protection. It’s not effected by conventional laundering
Non Leaching and Non Depleting Antimicrobial Towels - Fresche®-Tex will not leach from the treated textiles unlike other antimicrobials. Its mechanical mode of protection ensures protection from microbial attack.
Efficient Mechanical Mode of Action - Textiles treated with Fresche®-Tex are protected from bacteria and mould by a mechanical mode of action and not chemical interaction. This ensures terminal control of harmful micro organisms and will not promote the building of microbial resistance. Clean, Fresh and Odor Free - Fresche®-Tex keeps our microfiber towels clean.

What is your microfiber sterilization policy?

We take sterilization very seriously so every time we come to your home, we come with fresh, disinfected microfiber cloths and mops and towels. All cloths and mops are washed in a steam washer with an added disinfectant in the rinse cycle. The washer has a steam generator that heats the water to 212 degrees and then releases the steam into the washer drum. The steam penetrates the fibers for a superior cleaning. The cleaning equipment is regularly wiped down with disinfectant, specifically before we come to your home. We don't use any cloths when cleaning toilets, only paper towels made from recycled material.

Do you use steam cleaners?

Yes, we have different steamers and attachments for different types of jobs, however, not all surfaces can or should be steam cleaned. For example, we do not clean hardwood floors with steam cleaners. The steam gets between the wood planks and causes swelling and warping. It will make your warranty null and void. Also, certain types of fabric should never be steam cleaned.
